Train with a map, not a guess.

Umber Atlas is coaching for people who want to get stronger, move with less friction and know exactly why each session looks the way it does. We start with where you are and plot a steady, honest route forward.

Three ways to train together

Each format uses the same method. Choose the one that fits your schedule, experience and how much hands-on guidance you want.

01 — In person

1:1 Strength Coaching

Focused sessions built around the big lifts, taught at your pace with close attention to technique.

  • Initial movement assessment
  • Coached sessions of 60 minutes
  • Written plan for days between sessions
  • Progress review every four weeks
Best for: new lifters and technique work
02 — Remote

Remote Programming

A structured plan for your own gym, adjusted weekly from your notes and training videos.

  • Individual training blocks
  • Weekly plan adjustments
  • Video form feedback
  • Monthly planning call
Best for: self-starters with gym access
03 — Foundations

Mobility & Return to Training

A gentle, progressive rebuild for anyone coming back after time away or feeling stiff and unsure.

  • Range-of-motion screening
  • Low-impact strength progressions
  • Short home routines
  • Clear steps back to full training
Best for: restarting with confidence
The method

A route with clear waypoints

No mystery workouts. You will always know the current stage, what comes next and how we decide when to progress.

  1. 01

    First conversation

We talk through goals, schedule, training history and anything that has held you back before.

  2. 02

    Movement assessment

A relaxed look at how you squat, hinge, push, pull and carry, so the plan starts at the right level.

  3. 03

    Training blocks

Four-to-six week blocks with one clear focus and loads that rise gradually and predictably.

  4. 04

    Review & adjust

At the end of each block we look at how training felt and set the direction for the next one.

Patient coaching, steady progress

I started Umber Atlas for people who feel lost in a gym: overwhelmed by conflicting advice, or tired of plans that burn bright for a month and then fade.

My sessions are calm, technical and honest. We lift with intent, rest properly and track only what helps you make decisions. The aim is strength you keep, not a short-lived transformation.

  • Technique firstLoad follows good movement.
  • Plain languageEvery choice explained.
  • Realistic plansBuilt around real weeks.
  • All levelsBeginners are welcome.
Questions

Before you get started

I have never lifted weights. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Many clients start from zero. The first weeks focus on learning positions and building confidence with light loads before anything gets heavy.

Do I need my own equipment?

In-person sessions provide everything. For remote programming we build the plan around the equipment you can actually use, whether that is a full gym or a pair of dumbbells.

How often should I train?

Most people do well with two or three strength sessions a week. We choose a frequency you can sustain through busy periods, not just good weeks.

Can I pause if life gets busy?

Yes. Travel, work and family happen. We can scale the plan down to a minimum version or pause and pick up again with a short re-entry week.
